My theme of the evening was: Immigration, border patrol, home, rising up. Inspired by some recent activity of the US border patrol on our ferries. See: Border Patrol Spot Checks. I got plenty fired up about it and had some great songs that I played.
After the ‘regular’ show from 9:15 – 10ish had Debra & Sam in house and we did a mini Jerry Garcia tribute and spun some tunes.
Tune in next week: Tues. Aug 12th at 8 PM for my regular show, followed at 9:15 by a live in-studio performance with Sam on accordian, & ukelele and Lance on mandolin. I will try not to blow the recording.
Gleanings Radio Show – 7/29/2008 – Audio
First set of songs were for my mom who was visiting. The rest of the show was “passing on” songs for my mom’s cousin Marie who passed. I’m still recording the audio at home ( a very flawed system) and the stream must of rebuffered. After first set of music I had to patch two audio clips together and about 1 minute of audio was lost. ohhh well! Rest all good!

Down a Gypsy, but Dirt Girl does call in from France or was that Mexico? New board at studio K and still can’t get the telephone interface to quite work. Local Sheriffs report read as well as some singing from JFK.
